The challenge 

Adobe Professional Services Sales (PSS) is responsible for selling a range of professional services to our clients. These services are delivered by a range of experts (from project management, consulting, and solutions architecture) to ensure ongoing use of Adobe products by our regional clients. As such, the team works collaboratively with external customers, partners, internal marketing, customer success management, and others.  Adobe Professional Services Sales provide high end sales consulting, so our customers gain the maximum benefit from their investment in Adobe's enterprise software products. This role is in the Australia/New Zealand and supports the sales team sell services solutions on the Adobe Experience platform.  

The Professional Services Sales (PSS) Intern will take part in sales demand generation support and customer value realization and adoption strategies. You will be part of a high performing field sales team to help accelerate sales, operational processes that streamline sales activities, and generally contribute to client centric initiatives and programme. All of which lead to the measurement & management of new sales acquisition and customer satisfaction. 

The PSS Intern role offers rich opportunities to gain experience as a sales professional! You will learn the marketing cloud business and develop your network as you collaborate with people across Adobe, including from Sales, Marketing, and Delivery Services. 

What you’ll do 

  • Interface with Field Sales Executives, Marketing, Sales Operations and Delivery teams and processes that will help support and accelerate business development, territory & account research, and sales operational planning.
  • As part of developing & supporting new business initiatives:
  • Assist in stakeholder mapping and potential target contacts
  • Help identifying key industry events to attend and participate in
  • Support user participation in any Adobe events, managing attendance and follow-ups
  • Support PSS and Client Partners (CP) with executing their pipe generation strategies
  • Support marketing with event management and follow ups
  • As part of our client value realization and adoption support strategy, compile global research to support Adobe Point of view (POV) for specific customer problems
  • Gain familiarity with Adobe products/solutions/platform and how they apply in future account/industry case study development.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations appropriately in partnership with Sales, Delivery, Project Management Office (PMO), Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Success Management (CSM) and others etc.
  • Build relationships through seeking mentorship, introductory meetings, networking events across team environments.

You'll have foundational consulting skills, such as:

  • Contribute to sales projects & initiatives

What you need to succeed: 

  • Graduate in 2024 in a related field such as bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or similar
  • Ability to work a minimum of 3 days per week for six months (April to Oct 2024)
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen based in Sydney
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be a team player, and manage change effectively
  • Interest in either: sales, business, marketing, technology
  • A self-starter, results-oriented, persuasive, multi-tasker, service-oriented and professional
  • Be proactive in stakeholder engagements

Role: Analysing data + insights to reflect and review past and present performance, predict future performance, and build strategies around this to add value to and improve business. Day to day responsibilities vary on the work I'm doing and certain deadlines/ events that are on, however I work through juggling meetings with my team and other internal stakeholders, working on projects independently, checking in with my manager, setting aside time to upskill through training courses (very useful as I use a lot of software/ technical skills and am still early in my career).
