About the team

The Adobe Managed Services team is responsible for delivering high performance, high volume, content-based outcomes for the world's largest brands.

You will support the team in developing insights and perform analysis across a range of areas including customer satisfaction, engineering efficiency, incident reduction, cost control, and a variety of pre-sales activities including accelerated information sharing and the elimination of manual processes.

As a BI Intern you will be hands on in support strategic and operational initiatives that create both growth and efficiency. You are a technology enthusiast and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You are a meticulous, detail focused, and an ambitious self-starter.

The role will be a valued member and provide vital support to the APAC Managed Services team and feed into the global business.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in developing metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities
  • Drive new analytical initiatives and projects aimed at improving organizational efficiency.
  • Engage in creating interactive real-time dashboards to collect, observe data and include alignment of various touchpoints along the data lifecycle for the team.
  • Assist in automating manual operational processes and participative in new BI initiatives impacting the global team.
  • Observe and evaluate trends of delivery efforts and business results.
  • Assists in performing cost and benefit analysis.
  • Stay on the cutting edge of industry standard methodologies, trends, and new technologies

What you need to succeed

  • Graduate by the end of 2024 with an outstanding record of academic achievement
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen based in Sydney
  • Ability to work 3 days per week for 6 months (April to Oct 2024)
  • Analytical skills, including ability to conduct research, analysing data, and developing hypotheses.
  • Experience in BI and Analytical tool (Sql, Tableau, PowerBI or similar technology) is desirable.
  • Experience in Python / Scala is a huge plus.
  • Exposure to containerized architecture and version control system is a plus.
  • Exposure to statistical analysis methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot-tables, V-lookups, graphics)
  • Time management and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team members and internal partners.
  • Ability to communicate ideas (verbally and in writing)

Role: Analysing data + insights to reflect and review past and present performance, predict future performance, and build strategies around this to add value to and improve business. Day to day responsibilities vary on the work I'm doing and certain deadlines/ events that are on, however I work through juggling meetings with my team and other internal stakeholders, working on projects independently, checking in with my manager, setting aside time to upskill through training courses (very useful as I use a lot of software/ technical skills and am still early in my career).
