Intro

Congratulations, you've completed the first step on your adventure to find Your Place to Be. A place to Be Well, Be Yourself, Be Your Best, Be Responsible and Be Involved. Our commitment to you? We will be the ones to guide you there.

You'll be challenged with real business problems and receive guidance from senior leaders – developing your capability and enabling you to become a leader in one of Australia's most iconic companies.

The Program

The GMT program consists of a fun and varied 10-month program throughout our business. From our manufacturing sites, to brewing to sales, you'll deep dive in some of our core functions to learn about how the parts of our business come together to produce and sell some of Australia's most iconic brands, bringing our consumers together every day.

You will spend time shadowing leaders, working on projects, and learning the essentials of each function, whilst having a real impact on our business. The program culminates in a three-month capstone project aligned to our strategic priorities, followed by a presentation of your recommendations back to the Asahi leadership team.

Key elements of the program include:

  • Functional deep dives – rotate through and play an active role in our core functions (sales, marketing, supply, and Fire & Earth Ventures), learning about these areas in depth, whilst getting exposure to our Regional Hub functions to understand how they add value to and support our business divisions.
  • Stretch projects – develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills by working on real business problems, recommending solutions and presenting your outcomes throughout the program
  • Development – build both your leadership capability through tailored leadership training, as well as technical skills including project management, design thinking and agile ways of working
  • Senior Leadership exposure – connect and build relationships with our senior leaders throughout the program
  • Mentoring – ongoing career and professional development support with a senior leader mentor at the conclusion of the program

About You

You are always looking for the next challenge and revel in leadership and teamwork alike. You are inquisitive and aim to Be. You will always question the norm in favour of new and exciting innovations. You are seeking a career in an agile and ever shifting workplace and are looking forward to a career within our organisation.

  • Be an Australian/NZ citizen or Australian permanent resident
