Fulton Hogan has a strong company culture and really does uphold its REAL values. Everyone is incredibly respectful and I believe if I was involved in incident at work it would be properly dealt with and addressed. I feel safe and protected by my workplace. Everyone is incredibly accepted and welcoming. We have strong management and leadership in this business and managers support their teams effectively.

Company culture is good, there is banter within the team I work in which is nice. Hierarchy works as expected: PM > PE > SE > Grad. Teamwork is good and I feel as though I can ask my teammates for help without judgement.
There isn't really culture or socialising outside of work.

Overall company culture is generally positive. Senior leaders try to stay involved and also interact with graduates. Cultures within the office/business units will be dependent on the people in the teams. The decentralised nature make it hard to judge.

Many employees in the SRAP contract are very social, friendly and easy going.
There are a 1-3 whom prefer a bureaucratic approach and micro manage a lot of your day-to-day activities which comes down to poor communication and builds a poor relationship of trust.
The majority are always good to communicate with. We very rarely do events out of work if anything we do lunchs during work hours and they normally go really well.

As we do FIFO the colleagues have all become frineds and its an amazing dynamic. Head office has seemed to forgotten about the project

i love Fulton Hogans culture, in the office, on site, and outside of work hours , Fulton Hogan is full of great people who care

In office culture is great and friendly, everyone is nice and chilled. Out of office I am unsure because I do not attend after-hours events. The project manager is very friendly, approachable and not strict which allows everyone to actually enjoy the environment. There is good trust between the managers and the engineers which allows us to work at our own pace and still get things done.

Company culture can be quite varied depending on who and where you are. You are likely to experience different cultures in different business units and different levels of the business (i.e. senior management vs. site workers). On the most part it is good, there is a clear structure that is generally followed, teams cooperate well together to ensure that the job is completed and socialising is easy to do.

Great team and great people in the company to talk through in the office and outside the office. Having some events is really a great thing which other companies may not have.

Pretty good culture in the teams, except around flexibility.

I believe that the company's culture is great. The environment on site is cohesive, even during busy, stressful periods and the engineering team have been great in supporting me when I have questions. There is a definite team environment on site and willingness to help each other. We have small team celebrations and celebrate each others successes in meetings and in our project chat. The structure of the staff is clear, but I do not feel as if I can't contact whoever in the business for discussions and questions. To me, there is a general egalitarian feeling and a genuine desire to help those within the business in an open manner. However, I would like there to be more opportunities to enjoy social events or have team bonding sessions - sometimes it feels like life on site could be treated more similarly to perhaps a corporate head office environment. It would also be nice if the regional teams could coordinate a graduate catch up.

Work within a great immediate team.

When working together in a team, your colleagues will support you work as a team to achieve the goals of the team. This is extends from the managers down to the student engineers. Outside of work, we endeavour to catch up as a team once a month over a meal and some drinks to build and strengthen the relationships of the workplace.

Really helpful and friendly environment. Everyone respects other cultures.
Graduate, Sydney - 08 Aug 2023
Great group of people - great culture. Multiple after hours events and outings with people from work helps to grow relationships.
Graduate, Sydney - 07 Aug 2023
Culture is very inclusive and supportive - staff are always happy and friendly, and many events are put on each month for employee's to get to know each other and the business. Outside office hours could be better (NRL tickets for workers each week in Brisbane was offered and was nice but not much else). Structure is good, allows for the team to work together and achieve accurate results.

The in office culture is brilliant. Great office. Don't do any socialising and after hours stuff as the team is always working away.
