Your role

General Electric Australia Healthcare has a broad base of installed monitors and Anaesthetic machines across WA. You will be working with a high-performing team with well-recognized products at your disposal. Success will be achieved by ensuring a customer-centric approach in all aspects of your role. 

As the Clinical Applications Specialist at GE Healthcare you will be responsible for providing clinical support during the sales process for the Perioperative and Critical Care product range within Western Australia (WA).

Responsibilities may include providing the required pre-sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support) as well as post-sale installation, training and/or customer service activities to support sales objectives. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop, coordinate and deliver product training to customers on software, application, and/or equipment use, monitor customer installations within assigned territory/region to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships
  • Improve customer satisfaction and socket retention through continuing education
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training
  • Use market and product knowledge to assist the sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer service strategies
  • Produce well-written post-training reports and provide regular feedback on customer satisfaction and needs

About you

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in related business or technical/clinical field, e.g. nursing
  • Solid clinical/technical experience with demonstrated basic clinical proficiencies on current products
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages 
  • Solid presentation skills 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within your specified geographic region as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows 
  • A valid driver’s license is a must, as is the requirement for you to be fully vaccinated for Covid
  • Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process)
  • Team-oriented with a customer satisfaction mindset
  • Willingness to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments
