Your role

As Customer Service Representative at GE Healthcare Australia and New Zealand you will be responsible for driving a first-class order management process, for working directly with customers to answer queries and resolve issues, and for building strong relationships with internal teams. The role is full-time and will be predominantly based at their Parramatta office, with flexible remote-working options available. 

Essential Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Order processing – ensure that customer orders are entered accurately and in accordance with customer requirements into the Oracle Order Management system
  • Answer customer questions from across New Zealand and Australia via phone and email
  • Build strong working partnerships with Sales, Supply Chain, and Warehousing/Transportation teams
  • Manage credits and returns
  • Work in compliance with the documented quality system and report any anomalies
  • Follow up proactively with customers to keep them informed of ongoing activities
  • Act with professionalism, empathy, and integrity at all times
  • Be adoptive of change and be flexible and positive in an ever-changing environment

About you

General Electric Australia is looking for a superstar Customer Service Representative who loves to be busy, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who is looking for an incredible career opportunity to work for a successful, growing, and global organization. 

Ideally, you will have held a similar role, ideally in a commercial field, and have proficient use of the MS Office Suit (speed, and accuracy!). You can multitask, have brilliant communication skills, can work under pressure and take pride in your customer care skills. The ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision is a must.

The following will be highly regarded:

  • An empathic approach to customer service
  • Previous Oracle Order Management experience
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Takes initiative to make things happen, identifies what needs to be done, and does it.
  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization
  • Experience in triaging critical customer issues
  • A calm and analytical approach to problem-solving
