Our Civil business group in Wollongong is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects in the region, and be connected with other Australian and international teams who do similar work.
The work will be diverse, covering all aspects of civil engineering and design. This includes roads (regional and urban), urban infrastructure, and subdivision. While it will mostly be office-based, there will also be regular site visits and client interaction. You will have experienced staff to guide and mentor you, as well as access to the Young Professionals network.
We’re looking for someone who:
will graduate by December 2022 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
is interested in working in a regional location.
enjoys client interaction.
has good verbal and written communication skills.
Any prior relevant experience will be highly regarded, but we are also willing to train someone who is interested in a long-term Civil Engineering career in a regional location.
This is a role for GHD’s 2023 Graduate Program which starts in February 2023. The two-year Graduate Program provides structured training to develop your corporate skills. It will also link you to a wider graduate cohort located within Australia and internationally. The successful candidate may also have the option to work casually prior to graduating. Upon completion of the Graduate Program, you will have an ongoing role at GHD.
