As a technology recruitment consultant/talent specialist your role is to develop strong relationships with your tech talent (candidates) such as Business Analysts, Project Managers or Developers - and connect them with Australia's best career opportunities. This could be in Government or Private sector corporations.

As a recruiter I am constantly reaching out to candidates in my specialisation and nurturing that talent pool. I am always calling, interviewing, checking in, and searching for candidates. I am regularly on LinkedIn expanding my network, and reading lots of resumes every day! Beyond candidates, I am in contact with clients for further business development so I can get new roles to work on for upcoming projects. When I am working on roles, I am evaluating and reaching out to my talent pool to find the most suitable candidates to match the position description of the role.
Presenting/shortlisting candidates for roles, client business development calls, sourcing and maintaining relationships + admin tasks.
Candidate sourcing, candidate management, database updates, contacting new clients for Hudson. Building rapport and selling the Hudson team. Meeting with clients, taking job briefs, interviewing candidates, shortlisting suitable candidates to the client. Prepping for client interviews, sharing feedback, following through to rejection or placement + associated paperwork needs. LinkedIn is heavily used to build client connections and source jobs to resource for, you'll need plenty of minutes on your phone as you're on calls frequently throughout the day!
