What you'll do
As well as completing the industrial training component of your degree, you will be working on real projects with real responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to develop to your full potential and beyond, alongside owners of the business whilst experiencing the variety and diversity of consulting engineering, alongside owners of our business.

Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply, you must be in your penultimate or final year of study.
The program starts from July 2023 onwards, and you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident of Australia, or New Zealand Citizen.

As a graduate sustainability consultant, my role has wide ranging responsibilities, from minimum compliance tasks to meeting and exceeding high sustainability targets.
civil engineer - civil design (sw quantity and quality, site grading, 3d design, concept plans, construction and DA drawings sets, etc), responding to RFI's and clients, coordinating resources
I work on various remedial projects, mostly with residential multi story buildings. My day-to-day responsibilities include, answering emails, providing fee proposals to clients, completing inspections, drafting reports, producing detailed designs and conducting site inspections.

Pros
Flexible working is highly respected in the company, giving everyone the opportunity to work wherever.

Lots of learning technical concepts. Being exposed to different kinds of projects.
Cons
Everyone is really busy so sometimes you do not get enough time with mentors, training or jobs.
Some ongoing changes/improvements to company processes means we have to learn the old system as well as ongoing learning of the new system. Not that bad, just extra steps learning the workflow.
Inefficiencies in the way we work on projects
Sometimes there is not as much structure around processes and tasks that we do day-to-day.
