I was accepted as an undergraduate in 2022. The application selection process was very competitive and was done by HR. Interview process was done by engineers to see if the candidates are good fit to the company. I think this strategy is very good to assess whether a candidate has the aptitude and sufficient basic knowledge to join the company.

After Northrop's recruitment received the CV, they followed up with a call to discuss what I wanted from the company, about what my future goals were. After that they asked me to visit the office and speak to the Electrical engineers for an in person interview.

There's usually two sages of interviews: First, you will be interviewed by very experienced company staff who will assess your theory as well as some me practical questions to test your ability how approach a problem. In the second interview, you be interviewed by another group of senior staff to reassess you. They are very friendly which give a confidence and a feel at home.
