TasNetworks came into being on July 1, 2014, following the merger of Aurora Energy’s distribution network (i.e. poles and wires) and Transend Networks (i.e. big towers and lines). The state-owned corporation is responsible for supplying power to a quarter of a million Tasmanian homes and businesses. TasNetworks also owns and operates telecommunication infrastructure to “enable safe and efficient operation of the electricity system”.

They have several positions on offer, as a Graduate Engineer, you will undertake data capture and analysis as required to determine the best technical solutions to achieve business objectives. Increase knowledge and develop skills specific to the electrical engineering industry. You will be involved in working within various workgroups on multiple projects throughout the business. As a graduate, you will get the amazing opportunity to move around the business on a regular basis to ensure you gain exposure and diverse experience. This is a 2-year fixed-term opportunity.
