Project New Grad, is an industry leading engineering graduate programme, like no other, run between Watercare, GHD, and Fulton Hogan.  The three companies have a common vision of providing industry leading water projects, looking after our environment, and helping New Zealanders to have a better future.

He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role

This programme offers a unique opportunity to get hands-on experience of the full engineering lifecycle.  From planning and design through to maintenance, our goal is to give you as much experience as is possible to fit into a three-year programme.

In this role you will:

  • Experience projects from three different perspectives
  • Work with industry leaders with a wealth of knowledge and experience
  • Gain practical and theoretical project management experience
  • Enjoy a true rotational grad programme (you'll go through at least five teams)

We're looking for flexible and motivated graduates with a genuine passion for civil or mechanical engineering (with honours), and a desire to make a difference and reach their full potential.

We're looking for future graduates who are:

  • Keen to get stuck into a wide range of engineering tasks
  • Solutions focused
  • Collaborative, team players
  • Great communicators

Additional requirements:

  • Right to work in New Zealand
  • At least a Restricted New Zealand Drivers License
  • Pre-employment Checks (MOJ, Pre-employment medical, References, etc.) To be completed at offer stage.
