As a permanent employee of Nova, we also have lots of social events to promote a healthy work-life balance and enable networking with people from other business areas at Nova.
We have a weekly meeting with our team and a fortnightly meeting with our broader team to give updates on what we are working on. This also gives everyone the opportunity to flag if they are having issues with something or if they will need more help.
More people with diverse perspectives and ways of thinking through problems, increases the likelihood that different solutions can be discussed, and ultimately increases the likelihood that the team can devise the most appropriate solution.
Throughout my time in Nulka, I feel that my favourite tasks related to applying my knowledge of hardware/software components to generate test procedures, test set-ups, reports and solutions.
I really love the social and people aspect of Nova. So not only has it been amazing that I could join the social committee and help run social and charitable events such as the biggest morning tea bake-off, but I also got the opportunity to help with the work experience and graduate program.
