I work on a broad range of projects including public transport infrastructure such as train stations and car parks, renewable energy facilities, major highway upgrades, housing developments, and road safety audits of existing road networks.
The main limitation, however, is whatever you limit yourself to. If you are willing to learn and not take things personally, then you can learn more and thrive.
I love that my role in Signify is so dynamic. In one day, I can do so many different things from product specs and margins to something creative like planning a campaign with a great punchline and some nice imagery. I get to work with interesting people across the Signify business and the world.
There’s so much to learn and that’s the coolest thing about being an engineer. Everyone at Hydro is super happy to answer questions and share what they know as well, especially if you’re a grad!
I’m currently involved in various aspects of the maintenance and support of the radar, as well as investigating potential future upgrades to the system.
